Introduction

This is the home page of the University's RF and Antenna Laboratories. We've published a number of resources to help you find your way through the Labs, understand the instruments which are available and how to use them.

2013/03/08 New Firmware Version 3.10 was loaded on the ZVB

New Features: Release Notes for R&S ZVB Firmware Version 3.10 New Features: New calibration method Complete revision of automatic level control (ALC): - Complete redesign of dialogs - Relocation of in Power Bandwidth Average menu - ALC settings are now channel specific - Complete redesign of Auto mode - Support of ALC over the whole frequency range of the instrument - Display of ALC status in trace list - Improved warning and error messages - Support for frequency converting applications Note that due to concept changes some old port-specific ALC remote commands are not 100% downward compatible. Support for new Netcon hardware board with increased amount of memory Product Improvements: Improvement of menu structure and dialogs (option R&S ZVAB-K2) Improved time gating in bandpass mode.
